I’m sitting in the lodge at Mission Ridge in Wenatchee, Washington looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the white powdery slopes, dark green trees, and skiers and snowboarders carving their way down the mountain. To my left is a 23 oz. Widmer Hefeweizen. Life is good. I’d easily consider this afternoon one of the uphill moments in life. Conversely, life is filled with many downhill moments. Pondering this ying and yang inspired me to write about some players this year who I think will have either an up year or a down year.
